ROC Conversations
What will make the difference in YOUR community? “Redeeming Our Communities” (ROC) is a national initiative by Christian organisation, CityLinks. It’s aim is to be a catalyst for community transformation by promoting prayer and policing in partnership for crime and disorder reduction. After a big city-wide event last year, the ROC Conversations are a series of local events designed to bring churches, communities and police together to discuss practical ideas and ways of working together for the good of the community. The central Manchester event is during PeaceWeek and we are pleased to include it in our events schedule and encourage lots of you to go along (even if you’re not part of a church). Hear about existing projects that could be used in your area, dream up new ideas and get them kick-started. Venue is the New Covenant Church, Matthews Lane, Levenshulme M12 4QW (near Netto on the A6). Time: 7.30pm. Admission free. Email for more information. Find out more about ROC here.
